Chess is a timeless strategy game where two players compete to checkmate each other's king. Strategically place your pieces on a checkered board and use your analytic skills and tactics to anticipate your opponent's moves. The first player to checkmate the enemy's king emerges as the winner. A classic blend of strategy, logic, and foresight awaits!


RULES


  • Setup: Arrange your pieces on the board according to the starting positions. Each player controls a set of 16 pieces, including the king, queen, rooks, bishops, knights, and pawns.


  • Gameplay: Take turns moving your pieces according to their individual movement rules, with the ultimate goal of capturing the opponent's pieces and placing their king in checkmate.


  • Check and Checkmate: When a player places the opponent's king under direct attack, it is called a "check." If the king is in a check position with no legal moves to escape, it is a "checkmate," resulting in a victory for the attacking player.


  • Victory: The game continues until one player achieves checkmate, at which point they are declared the winner.
